Text Box: THE PADI DIVEMASTER PROGRAM Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

Text Box: During the PADI Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems. You put this knowledge into action through an internship or series of practical training exercises. Knowledge Development: 12 topics ranging from dive theory to assisting student divers in training Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization), PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization), 20 logged dives, 18 years old. Minimum Number of Logged Dives: 60 for certification as PADI Divemaster

Want to come face to face with a 2 metre shark before breakfast? The Divemaster program will give you ample opportunity! This 12 week course provides you with unlimited diving, exploring the tropical waters of the gulf of Thailand. If you are really fortunate you will dive with the worlds largest fish the graceful Whale Shark. This tropical island has an excellent range of dive sites, where you will discover a mix of hard and soft corals and abundant marine life from sharks to turtles and thousands of fish. The sites vary in depth from just a few meters down to 40 meters, there is little current and the water temperature is always warm, ranging from about 27°C to 31°C.

We will take you from Zero to Hero (open water, through Advanced and Rescue Diver level before starting your DM). Once qualified you will be able to gain paid work as a Dive Master at any accredited PADI dive resort in the world.

This program is not just about the diving, you will develop leadership skills necessary when leading divers in the underwater world. You will become trained in reacting to and dealing with emergencies. Helping distressed divers and learning about the physics of diving. Not only this, but you will be living on a laid back tropical island with a great laid back cosmopolitan social scene and great natural beauty all around.

Should you wish to stay after the course, you will be able to gain paid work as a Divemaster at one of the many dive resorts located on the Island, extending your stay in paradise. Or follow the a Technical diving course or even become an Dive instructor (coming soon section)! Go on! Dive in!
